Facilities (restrooms, concessions) are good. Soccer Fields are not in great shape. Granted, it’s December and it’s rainy.

Va-Du-Mar McMillan Park is one of the best all-around parks in the Upstate. It’s beautifully maintained, clean, and offers something for everyone. The walking trails are wide and peaceful, perfect for an easy stroll, run, or walk with the dog. There’s plenty of open green space, shade trees, and benches throughout — great for relaxing or having a picnic. The playground area is large, safe, and well-kept with plenty of equipment for kids of all ages. The tennis courts and soccer fields are in excellent condition, and the disc golf course is a big bonus — scenic, well-marked, and fun for beginners and experienced players alike. Restrooms are conveniently located and usually spotless, and there’s ample parking even on weekends. You can tell the county puts real effort into keeping this park in top shape. It’s a peaceful, family-friendly spot that’s great for outdoor exercise, sports, or just enjoying a nice day outside.

This park is always clean. It's more upscale and I feel she when bringing my grandchildren to play their soccer games. The restrooms are generally clean and adequate. There is a concession stand near the restrooms but it's not well stocked and on 2 occasions I got stale chips.

Very Nice facilities but super crowded on the weekends with some punk teenagers messing with little kids and cursing. Try weekdays if you don’t like crowds or punks. Tennis/splash pad/soccer fields & hiking.

MacMillan Park is truly a hidden gem and one of my favorite places to visit. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by a peaceful atmosphere and beautifully maintained grounds. The park is spacious, clean, and perfect for families, individuals, or anyone just looking to enjoy some time outdoors. The walking trails are well-paved and shaded by tall trees, making them ideal for a relaxing stroll or a morning jog. There are plenty of benches along the way where you can sit and take in the scenery. I especially love how the park blends open green spaces with quiet wooded areas—it offers the best of both worlds. There’s a lovely playground for children, picnic areas for families, and even quiet corners where you can read or reflect. It’s a safe and serene place that’s clearly cared for by the community. I’ve brought my daughter here several times, and it’s always been a pleasant experience.
